Tornado Alley, Etc.

Well today after my party, there suddenly were GUSTS of wind and BAM — Tornado Warning! Dan F. from our local ESDA come on the television and told us to stay inside. :-P Interesting enough…

It was mainly just wind gusts, but it scared one of my friends’ who was staying here until we had to go to Joe G.’s party at like around 7PM tonight. Now THAT was good times. Then the Sirens went off. Oh gosh. I was REALLY scared then. I mean I don’t mind storms and even Tornado Warnings and Watches, but when that siren goes off. Man. I just want to run under my bed (Oh wait, my bed doesn’t HAVE any ‘under’ sort of thing to it)…Okay so I just want to huddle in my BLANKETS and hope for it to be over! ;-)

Anyways so yeah –

I went to Joe G.’s Party and it was actually for a few other people. They all had tables (Well, everyone who chipped in, etc.) set up for each one around the K of C’s (Knights of Columbus), and it was cool to walk around and see each display of the person. Normally they put picture and memorabilia, but other than that it was really interesting.

For half of the night like NO ONE danced. It was kind of boring because we were the only ones dancing (When I mean “we” I mean like about 20 people at the best time) and the floor was made to dance like 100 — Like it was for Prom! I wish it was like that. I mean they finally turned out the lights to get the “mood” right for dancing and STILL no one got up to dance!!!

It was fustrating a bit but all the same fun! There were just a FEW slow-dance songs, and I really didn’t slow-dance with anyone. Well I mean I did with Marc because he FORCED me to! (Curse you Marc!) Naw, just kidding. It was all good times. Then I slow-danced with Michael K. also…Good times again. Both times I slow-danced we went around “bumping” or just nudging other couples while THEY were dancing.

So anyways all in all it was good fun. It was kind of fun to be dancing and just BEING with most of the Seniors and dancing and stuff, but it was more of a moment sort of thing. I didn’t want for it to end, but eventually I KNEW I had to go home to my family and my relatives who were STILL here! :-)

Tomorrow is Abby E.’s party from 1 until 6PM — I’m going to probably just make an appearance, but you just never know what might happen… ;-)

Graduation Party

Well today was the day of my graduation party, and I thought I would take the time to talk a bit about it!

In the morning this morning it was raining REALLY badly when I woke up, and my mom was REALLY upset because she thought that my party would have to be canceled and all of that, and I of course was in a bit of a shock because I did NOT want to cancel my party and I thought that it was supposed to be nice today.

Anyways, but luckily later on that day the wind and rain cleared off, leaving a hot, clear, yet muggy, day behind. My party didn’t turn out too bad! After the rain cleared off everything seemed okay yet damp for almost the entire day.

We had like 7 chairs all encircling this table that we went ahead and put in the center, so it was really interesting sitting around a card table which was full of snack foods. It made me drool, but other than that the food was great! :-)

So anyways the first to arrive were the two neighbors that live behind us, then Helen and Vernon which live next door, and then the Greens (down the street) they of course all brought presents (for me! Yay!) and we all ate hamburgers and just had a good time. At the maximum I think at one point we had these people:

Kristin M.

Marc A.

Tim W.

My Mom

Aunt Elaine

David C.

Brian C.

David L.

Shai M.

My Dad

My Brother

Margie (Lives behind us)

George (Lievs behind us)

Katie G.

Jeff G.

Bob G.

Ruth G.

Helen (Neighbors)

Vernon (Neighbors)

Sandra B. (My Teacher!!!)

Yup — That is who was at my house at ONE TIME!!! Wholly cow! It was really cool though, I mean I was showing people around the house and people were eating and hanging out. We had a REALLY good turn out!

Then of course my FRIENDS showed up like:

Tracy T.

Abby E.

Allison N.

Alison K.

And we hung out around the house for a bit. So anyways yeah it was really interesting, and near the end of the day we decided to move it inside because they were calling for storms and we went in to cut the cake and stuff like that! Whoopie!

Then I cut the cake (my mom said I did pretty good) and I ate a piece…Yummm.

Now tonight I’m going to go to my friend (and Tracy T.’s boyfriends) party for Carroll Catholic Graduates (Although everyone is invited)…Joe G.’s party. Whoopie!

We are going to have lots of food and chips and stuff hopefully.

I will also write about the tornado mishap and how I ALMOST wasn’t able to go to Joe’s party because of it!

I will also tell you about Joe’s party - so far now…

Farewell!
