Graduation Day - After Graduation Part 2

Well hey — It is TECHNICALLY the day AFTER “Graduation Day” but I thought it would be safe to post “Graduation Day” in the title all the same.

This is MY Blog, after all. :-P

Anyways –

After I ate spaghetti (It was VERY good, no doubt about that), I went to Katie S.’s. It really wasn’t that exciting, because it was just me and her family and Whitney (Brennan S., Katie’s brother, girlfriend). Katie and Whitney do NOT get along.

So anyways when I got there I was technically the “First to Arrive” because obviously, no one ELSE was there! It was kind of sad, seeing the tables covered with nice mats and food and buckets filled with soda (That’s a good idea — Noted for my party) :-)

And then after about an hour Katie was saying that it was going to rain so we moved everything inside. Interesting. Her family is okay. I just didn’t really feel like I fit in very well, and although Katie kept on saying that yes, I did fit in I just felt that I didn’t.

So anyways about a half an hour later Katie was like “Let’s break out the Margarita’s!!!” and I was like “Ummm..Does it have alcohol in it?” Katie said no, not yet, but her Aunt ran and got some. So I said I would have mine Virgin and she poured Mountain Dew into it!

It actually didn’t taste that bad, and I didn’t really feel like having anything alcoholic in my drink. Unfortunately it tasted REALLY sour and it was depressing because everyone else had Tequila in their drink.

Oh well really –

We ate and had a pretty good time, and then I went to the movies at like 9:15PM, after I ate Katie’s cake. It was so pretty and she kept telling me how funny I was because I was making fun of her winking and smiling as she was cutting hte cake.

So we went to “The Day After Tomorrow”…That movie is KIND of good. It doesn’t really have a large climax, and the ending just SUCKED…but I DID like the story-line and it was interesting to see New York City AFTER the storms and stuff.

Well yeah, so that was about it for MY day.

I’ll probably post later on tonight because I just got done with MY party…and THAT deserves another post! :-)

Graduation Day - After Graduation

Well here I am! Still alive and with a diploma in my hand! :-)

Right now technically it is the day AFTER my graduation, because it is 1 in the MORNING of the next day, but I thought that all the same I would post!

Anyways graduation went REALLY great. Justin Gullion sat RIGHT in front of me, and I remember him getting out his beach ball and sticking it in between him and Bobby Green (who sat right next to him on HIS right) and trying to blow it up. He was having GREAT difficulty, so I leaned forward and hissed.

“Hey! You have to PINCH the plastic thing and THEN blow.” This made like the entire section start cracking up, and he heeded my instructions and he blew up the beach ball in no time. After he got it blown up he put it in between him and Bobby and they used it as an “Arm Rest”. After they said “I give you the Class of 2004″ everyone went NUTS! We all started screaming and clapping, and of COURSE silly string IS the way to go.

Chris Matson behind me, while Justin was blowing up the beach ball — Was passing out silly string like candy! When I asked him WHERE he had been KEEPING it all he just answered.

“Just don’t even ask.”

Now THAT made me laugh. It was so funny and since I was in the direct MIDDLE of the ENTIRE graduation class, I got a LOT of silly string and balloons and beach balls floating around. When we all got up to leave I was pulling silly string out of my hair, off the top of my hat, off of my gown, inside my dress…I mean this stuff was EVERYWHERE!

Also I thought it was really funny that Kelsey Washam (Who is the class president and head honcho) taped on her hat in WHITE tape “04″ and encircled it with MORE white tape. She was the ONLY Senior to do that.

When my row stood up to move down and get our diplomas, I was looking at the previous row and didn’t realize that MY row had started moving, and it was only when I looked back and saw Abby Matson pointing to my right that I was like “Oh, crap!” and I ran down the row to line up. ;-)

THEN –

I realized that I had my program still in my hands, so I whispered to Katrina Kelly.

“Hey, I can’t receive my diploma with this in my hand!”

And believe me, I had NO place to put it — So I just crumpled it up into a REALLY tight ball and threw it to the side where the audience was. I mean I made it descreet, but I’m sure the people in the front row really appreciated that. ;-)

Then I went into the back gym for pictures and guess what? Mom didn’t have the flowers! Grrrr!!! My first thought was “Oh crap, I need to get her some flowers” but then she gave me a big hug and said congratulations.

See we had to go into the back gym because they don’t hand out diplomas WHEN you get them…you actually just get the cardboard and sleeve that it goes in, and you have to go to the back gym in order to receive the ACTUAL diploma. I know it SOUNDS a bit confusing but it really isn’t. ;-)

So yeah after about a million pictures and about a million “Congratulations” I was like, okay see you guys at home.

So I went home and changed and ate Spaghetti. (That part really wasn’t that exciting). THEN I went to Katie Simpsons.

Well — Tonight it is getting REALLY late…so I guess I can call this “Blog Entry”:

GRADUATION DAY — AFTER GRADUATION PART 1

And then tomorrow will be “Part 2″ if you know what I mean. ;-) I will tell you all about my adventure at Katie Simpsons, her family, and then going to the movies!

For now, Good night everyone! :-D
