Well, here is Scooby in his final glory. I tried a bit of a blending technique in the basket (It is kind of hard to see with the scanner I used).

The basket was supposed to be an orange-yellow, with more orange than yellow for the bottom part of it, and more yellow than orange in the top part of the basket. This is where I had to use the best skill I had with shading and blending. ;-)

As you can see I had work today. ;-) So this is mainly what I did. I finished coloring in my Scooby of course!

At first when I started to color in the main part of scooby (His skin, I guess one could say), I ran into a problem. The “Brown” that I was going to use was really dark, and I knew that Scooby did NOT look like that. :-( So I had to improvise.

What I did is I took the lighter brown from the colored pencils, and I did about 3 coats of it on Scooby before I got the desired “Brown” I was looking for. :-) He looked much better than if I were to use the darker “Brown”! ;-)

Okay, so I admit it.

I had a friend come over the other day and guess what?

He installed Linux.

You heard me! :-) And you know what else? I actually ENJOY using it! Sure, it doesn’t have NEAR as many programs as Windows does, nor near as many problems for that matter, but that make it all the worthwhile to run, doesn’t it? :-)

It’s a little difficult to adjust to after being with Windows…all my life. But it is just one of those things.

I mean I don’t think I will EVER get rid of Windows. (I would miss the 5 billion programs running at one time way to often) Windows is my baby, and although my friends use Linux and Macintosh, I think a few Windows’ users every now and then don’t hurt much.

;-)

I’m also afraid to admit it, but right now I’m on my Windows again. Like I said, it’s hard to let go of something you have been using all of your life, especially when it is something as large as your operating system.

Although…

It (Linux) is still worthwhile to use, with its way different features and the cool programming ways my friend (attempted) to show me…I think I’m finally getting the hang of Linux!
