Complex
What was I thinking? Do I usually spontaneously sign up for things that have nothing to do with me?
The answer to that question is pending.
Right now, I am feeling complex, thus the title of this entry. I’m so confused between all of my classes and thinking about the speeches I have to give as well as a job for this summer and next semester. Throw in the Application for my Study Abroad that I plan on attending, life is complex.
Not only with all of that stuff, but my brain seems to be packed the max with all of this JavaScript stuff I’m currently learning in my Information Technology class! Sheesh!
Not only is it confusing, but I feel like I have to tutor about 10 other people in my class on how to do it as well after I have finished because THEY don’t understand! Woah!! That’s a mouthful! :-)
Then you throw in all of my other classes and what they are expecting me to do this weekend and you got one busy girl!
On a side note, my Psychology Teacher mentioned to us the Bulletin Boards in the basement of DeGarmo Hall where one can sign up to be a Guinea Pig, AKA Research Volunteer and get extra credit for per-hour we volunteer.
So, I went there today out of curiosity, and I noticed that the boards were right where I had seen them before, and I promised myself I would never become a “Lab Rat” unless it was ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY to continue living.
Compelling as the boards were, I felt drawn into their presense, and the next thing I know I’m on my knees, signing up! (You have to get really low to sign your name because they want to cause everyone arthritis before you go I guess…Prerequisite or whatever) ;-)
Either way, I go on Monday, January 31st, and I signed up for a Research nicknamed “PARSLEY”…hmmmmmmm…?
Don’t know about that one, but it was the only one that didn’t look too life-threatening. ;-)
Wish me luck, and if I survive the weekend without freaking out and going back the boards and frantically scribbling out my name before Monday, I’ll consider myself lucky.
Right now I’m feeling the urge to and scratch out my name right now for some reason…
