Happy Birthday to Me . . . ?

Okay, so I’ve literally been doing absolutely NOTHING ever since I came here for Spring Break; I mean it is kind of nice, but where has the break GONE?!

Today I was just sitting down, zoning out to The Simpsons Season 4 on DVD, when it dawned on me.

Why haven’t I been doing anything for Spring Break?

Shouldn’t I be sleeping out on a beach somewhere, soaking in the rays?

No.

Instead, I am sitting in shorts, wrapped in a blanket and watching The Simpsons.

Speaking of those seasons, my mother took me shopping for my birthday the other day and let me pick out a few things that I had been wanting. :-)

It was really nice of her and I really appreciate her getting me stuff. :-) Happy Birthday to Me! (Although it is not for…err…a little bit ha ha) :-)

For my Birthday I Received:

The Simpsons Season 4 on DVD
The Simpsons Season 5 on DVD
The Terminal (DVD)
The Simpsons: Hit and Run (PS2 Game)
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (PS2 Game)
Sto-and-Go Vacuum Cleaner (For my dorm ha ha)
Other stuff that I needed for school. . .

Anyways yeah good times!

Tomorrow I shall be visiting a teacher at my school, Ms. Bronson. She’s really nice and I always visit her whenever I get a break from school!!

Also next weekend I will be taking the bus back home to celebrate Easter! (Good times.) I’m excited because now I know how the bus system works so I won’t be all scared or anything. ;-)

Sorry about the random posting things about my life; but that’s how my mind has been all day — RANDOM!!! ;-)

Tired…?!

Yeah, that’s right, and take a look at the time!

What the hell is wrong with me?!

Mayybeee it is because I’m back at home and my ENTIRE FAMILY is already asleep.

I know if I were at college, this would NOT be happening.

Then again, the light would probably be on and the TV blaring as well. I would hear people in the hallway, talking and chatting, the bathroom door opening and closing with a bang, and also some random things that at times I would have to go and investigate.

I missed that today.

Especially when I woke up at 9AM, wanting to here people moving around in the hallway of my dorm. Instead I lay, looking at my new fan in my practically remodeled room, wanting to sleep longer and still wanting to be woken up by people in my dorm.

The silence seemed deafening today.

When I was sitting in the house, my brother and I were playing golf; and I found it odd that I could actually hear the comments made by the ‘TV Announcers’ on the game. Usually I would play music or my roommate would be talking on the phone; people would be coming in and out and talking to me.

But no.

Not here.

Not at my house.

All there is…is silence.

Like my entire, sleepy town. All of it is silence. No ambulances going by outside your window which is 16 floors up. No police cars screaming by as you are coming back from eating food over at Watterson. No loud music, booming it’s way into your ears until finally you turn your music up so loud you can’t hear anything else.

Just.

Silence.
