Busy

Oh man what a busy day it has been so far, and then all of a sudden this afternoon has felt like NOTHING has gone on - EVER!

It makes up for the whole day being one big blur, and let’s leave it at that.

Anyways yesterday Dan invited me over for dinner, and that was really good. I think my favorite part was when we went for a walk through Kickapoo Park looking for deer so that I can take pictures of them with my new DigiCam!

Well, we did, and I swear the deer couldn’t see me or something because it kept on looking around for a ‘person’ when I was standing almost right beside it! It scared me a bit when it jumped up and came onto the path.

“Let’s go now…” Dan said, backing up slowly as the deer stared us down.

I would have been so scared if it would have come after us, but after a few moments of just looking at us it darted back into the brush from where it was laying down.

I got some really good pictures that I will probably post on my picture website. :-)

Either way, I finally got my transmission fixed for about $370.00 — not too bad considering Jim Xamis was wanting to charge me six hundred for the same thing!

And now it purrs like a kitten. (Well, a kitten with about 30 cotton balls stuffed into it’s throat, trying to purr)

Anyways, I can’t wait because it is almost the weekend and I also have off on Monday! Yay! :-)

And JP — Foo on you!

I need to call you because we need to hang out or something this weekend — Yeahhhhh!!! ;-)

Summertime

Well, between my 40-hour a week job and sleep, I haven’t had much time to do much of anything really!

I know that other people are probably busy as well with the summer coming up really fast and other things as well, there really hasn’t been time to do much of anything.

Oh yeah, on another note, two days before I came hom there apparently was a REALLY big shockwave that went through town. Not only our little town but two other towns as well.

Apparently over at Cilco, a high-voltage line fell onto a low-voltage line (the one going to the three towns), causing a shockwave all down the line.

Well, we didn’t lose power, but instead received a power surge so big it took out my mothers’ computer, my brothers’ computer as well as the icemaker in the fridge and practically all of the “surge protectors”.

Good times!

Other than that, my car officially has a bad transmission leak and is now leaking transmission fluid everywhere - All of the time.

So we are trying to fix that.

At first I thought I would get a new car, but then I realized that I don’t have the mnoey to get a new car right now, so yeah.

On another note, my computer is out in the front living room where my mothers’ used to be, because my dad’s computer which is usually hooked up when I’m away at college, didn’t get the ultimatum shock that everyone else’s computer got before I came home - so we just hooked my computer where my mothers’ fried one was. :-)

Ho hum.

Oh yeah and I watched the season finale of CSI a few nights ago and let me tell you it was GOOD! I seriously want them to make it into a move-type thing because it was an hour and a half long if you subtract all of the commercials (2 hours long with commercials).

Right now I feel like I have no privacy with my computer because this computer sits out in the middle of everywhere and although it’s my computer — I don’t know I guess I’m just not used to living with a whole entire family and having them know every single thing I’m doing, especially on my computer, every minute that I’m on it.

Oh well.

Either way I’m kind of tired and wow this entry is long — I do have a few entries that I’m working on with Boredom on a Stick, but I’m not sure if I will end up posting them anytime soon.

Hope everyone’s weekend is going well! :-)
