Well, I was reading blogs today (something I haven’t done since, well, YESTERDAY! DUH!) and anyways I came across this blog which had an entry about “Simple Pleasures”.

So, what are yours?

Here are a few of mine that I was thinking of while reading Abby’s Blog (another link can be found under “E-Chan’s Blog” on the right)

My Simple Pleasures:
– Going from the 17th floor of my dorm (the top) to the first floor without stopping once (on the elevator, silly!)
– Feeling accomplished after solving the Rubik’s Cube after someone mixes it up
– A call from a friend whom you haven’t seen for awhile
– Receiving mail (postal mail, not e-mail…that’s cheating) :-)
– The relaxed feeling you get from instrumental music
– Laughing at jokes (Blog entries on the Internet also count)
– The warm feeling of watching snow fall outside while you are wrapped in a blanket inside
– The feeling of accomplishment after you finish everything you wanted to do that day
– A good-nights sleep (NOTE: Must require at least 9 hours to be considered ‘good’) ;-)
– Having someone else laugh at your jokes even if they don’t make sense or aren’t really that funny

So, what are yours?

For the past week I have been without cable (since I moved in).

Need…Cable.

I have had to sink so low as to use the community television as my own personal theatre, telling people off when my favorite show comes on, and changing the channel whenever I feel like it.

I had even had a taking to sneaking down there before class starts and catching whatever I could get.

It was pathetic, trust me. ;-)

The day I moved in is when I put in a work order for my cable to be fixed.

And today, when I came back from having lunch with my mother (whom I had treated to Applebees…Mmmm…), I see a little card starting with four beautiful words:

While You Were Out…

Ahhhhhhhhhh…I quickly snatch up the card only to find Christmas had come early this year.

MY CABLE IS FIXED!!!

But now I have a problem: Do homework, or watch TV?!

Right now I can’t seem to take my EYES off of that stupid thing, so I say

WATCH TV!!!
