Nickelodeon’s Outreach
Sorry about the lack of posting - I can’t really say that I have been busy, because we all know that that would be a lie. ;-)
I took off work from Wednesday to Friday (yesterday). Wednesday we ended up going to Six Flags - a story on that to follow…soon. ;-)
And then on Thursday I didn’t really do anything. See my stomach was hurting for most of the day on Thursday and then some yesterday, but today I feel a lot better. I think it was all of the fried food I ate at Six Flags. ;-)
Why did I title this entry “Nickelodeon’s Outreach” you may ask?? Let me tell you –
So anyways on Thursday I woke up and realized that it was June 1st. I also remembered something from a long time ago.
When I was in grade school - I loved Nickelodeon. Either way - there was this commercial, it showed a cartoon character of a person getting up on the first of the month. The person said something, and then the commercial said that if you say a specific phrase before you spoke anything else on the first of the month, you were to surely have good luck for the rest of the month.
I remember seeing this commercial a LOT of times.
I only remembered it one time, and it was in March, I remember waking up and saying the phrase when I was a lot younger. I did have good luck that entire month it seemed, but now I believe it was because it was the month of my birthday, and you know everyone always treat you some sort of special on your birthday one way or another… ;-)
So a few days ago, I wake up – you with me again?? - and I tried with all of my might to remember that stupid phrase for some reason. I remember once I got into high school I tried looking for the phrase on Nickelodeon and trying to watch for the commercial - it never came on. I think Nickelodeon yanked it a few years later - and it wasn’t enough time for me to remember to the phrase this month.
I’m laying in bed two days ago, staring up at the ceiling.
Since I couldn’t think of the phrase, I just said “Good luck to me and my family!”
Does anyone else happen to know this special phrases? I know it had the word “Bunny” in some form or another - it was a really weird phrase - LOL. :-)
