Wow, did I really turn 21 years old today?

NOW I feel like an adult.

Things I have Accomplished in my 21 Years:
1. Moved into an apartment
2. Graduated Gradeschool
3. Graduated High School
4. Spent 2.5 years in the college of my choice in the major of my choice
5. Held 7 jobs (including my current one)
6. Lived with 2 people (1 semester each) in the dorms
7. Lived with 3 people in an apartment
8. Lived with my family for 18 straight years (An accomplishment…?) ;-)
9. Made friends
10. Saw the ocean (Several…thousand…times AKA Vacation)
11. Saw the tallest bridge in the world…and almost couldn’t cross it
12. Had 2 boyfriends, and 2 ex-boyfriends…
13. Held 1,754 e-mail accounts (that number is rounded up)
14. Been to Washington D.C. - twice
15. Many other things that I can’t think of go here…

Today was really nice - my parents sent me flowers at my work with a “Happy 21st Birthday!” balloon attached to it. I also received about 16,239 “Happy Birthday’s” from a LOT of people (Again that number is rounded up slightly) and I received many gifts as well. :-)

All in all it was a very nice birthday.

I think I got most excited when my parents took me out to Olive Garden and they were giving free wine samples away like it was candy. Anyways my mother and I both got some but the waitress carded me!

It was pretty sweet because when I turned 18 I was all happy to get carded when I got my first lottery ticket. And when I went to go get my lottery ticket when I turned 18…They didn’t card me. So I said “When I turn 21 I’d better be carded for my first drink.”

And I was.

And it was everything I thought it to be.
